Position: Snow Removal Assistant

Description: Performs snow and ice removal: operate truck with mounted snow plow blades and sand spreader, use skid loader with mounted boom or bucket to clear parking lots, shovel sidewalks at various accounts.


Requirements: Knowledge of proper loading, transportation and unloading of equipment, and construction materials. Knowledge of basic and safe equipment operations and preventive maintenance.

Position: Painter

Description: Paint walls, equipment, buildings, bridges, and other structural surfaces, using brushes, rollers, and spray guns. May remove old paint to prepare surface prior to painting. Repairs surfaces to be painted including plastering and sheetrock finishing. May mix colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency. Erects scaffolding, movable and immovable staging and various rigging to gain access to difficult areas; moves furniture and equipment as necessary.  Cleans and stores tools and equipment and cleans work sites. Drives to field stations as required to perform job duties. Bends/stoops/reaches and lifts/carries heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds; twists torso 45o to 90o to perform essential functions; works in confined spaces; climbs ladders and onto scaffolding; works in inclement weather and emergency situations. May be assigned to wear a respirator and/or self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) as needed. Maintains records and logs as needed. Performs related duties as needed or assigned.


Requirements: Painters should have good manual dexterity, vision, and color sense. They also need physical stamina and balance to work on ladders and platforms.
